Lawn Care Services for a Green Fargo Lawn
Expert care for a lush, vibrant lawn all season long.

Your lawn has a short window to look good. The growing season here is quick and the winters are long and brutal. By the time the snow melts, your grass is hungry, beat up, and slow to wake up. Then mid-summer hits dry and hot, and weeds take over the spots that thinned out. Most folks try to fix it all at once and end up chasing problems all season.
We handle it the other way. B&W Outdoor Services gives your yard a plan that follows the calendar in Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, and Sabin. We feed cool-season grass like Kentucky bluegrass when it wants to grow, in spring and fall. We watch for crabgrass before it sprouts. We adjust watering advice for the hot dry stretch in July and August.
We are family-owned and veteran-owned, and we have worked these lawns for 60 years. We know Red River Valley clay packs down hard and chokes out roots. We know which weeds show up first and when. That local read saves you money because we treat the real problem instead of guessing.
No pressure here. We tell you what your lawn needs and what it does not. If a service will not help, we say so. You get one crew that knows your yard from spring green-up through fall cleanup. Call (701) 212-0827 and we will walk your property with you.

Lawn Care Services questions
When should lawn care start in Fargo?
Right after the ground thaws, usually April. Cool-season grass wakes up early here and grows hard in spring before the summer heat. Starting early lets us feed it and stop crabgrass before it sprouts. Waiting until June means you are already behind for the year.
What grass grows best in the Red River Valley?
Cool-season grasses do best, mostly Kentucky bluegrass with some fine fescue and ryegrass mixed in. They handle cold winters and grow fast in spring and fall. They slow down in the hot dry middle of summer, which is normal. Our plan works with that rhythm instead of fighting it.
Do you handle the whole season or one-time visits?
Both. Most folks want a full-season plan because lawn care here is about timing, not a single visit. But if you only need one job done, like a fall feeding or a cleanup, we will do that too. We tell you honestly which makes sense for your yard.
Why does my lawn look great in spring then go bad by July?
Cool-season grass naturally slows in heat, and our July and August stretch runs hot and dry. Thin or compacted areas brown out first. The fix is feeding and aeration earlier in the year so roots are deep before the heat. We build that into the plan.
Are you really family and veteran-owned?
Yes. We are a family business and veteran-owned, and we have served Fargo-Moorhead for 60 years. You deal with people who live here and stand behind the work. Call (701) 212-0827 anytime and you will talk to someone local.
